Aiko viajo desde Japon a Uruguay, quiere imprimir las fotos de sus seres queridos para recordarlos siempre en la pared.
Aiko Tanaka, a Japanese architectural designer recently moved to Uruguay, finds solace from her transition by creating a physical memory wall in her new minimalist apartment. Starting with a sense of displacement as she looks at digital photos of family in Japan, she uses her Epson EcoTank L3150 to bridge the distance. Through the process of printing high-quality, vibrant portraits and carefully arranging them on a brutalist concrete wall, she transforms a cold, empty space into a home filled with the presence of her loved ones, finding a new sense of belonging in her quiet South Uruguayan sanctuary.
